Luke Skywalker of Star Wars is behind this strain’s name: Leafly says its creators chose it because they found the effects strong and “forceful”. SkyWalker OG is hybrid flower, offered by the gram, by 3.5 g, 7 g or 14 g, or as a full 28 g.

Sky OG, Skywalker OG Kush and the family tree

Leafly records Sky OG, Skywalker OG Kush and Mazar x Blueberry OG among the strain’s other names. Leafly’s write-up describes an indica-dominant hybrid crossed from Mazar and Blueberry OG, and its genetics section lists OG Kush and a Mazar x Blueberry entry as the parents. AllBud describes a cross of Skywalker and OG Kush, at 85% indica and 15% sativa.

Jet fuel on the nose, rosemary on the side

AllBud says Skywalker OG smells of spicy, herbal jet fuel and tastes of spicy diesel, with an herb-like aftertaste. Leafly describes a spicy, herbal flavour with earthy undertones and puts diesel, pine and spicy-herbal among its top flavours and aromas, and one Leafly reviewer likened the smell to pine trees after rain. AllBud describes dense, round, mid-sized buds of olive green with burnt-orange hairs and orange undertones, dusted with milky-white trichomes and coated in sweet, sticky resin.

THC figures and the body high users describe

Leafly puts the strain at about 20% THC and 1% CBG, and its write-up gives a range of 20% to 30%; AllBud lists 20% to 25% THC and 2% CBD. Leafly rates the potency as higher than average. Each of those THC numbers is at least double the 10% level in Health Canada‘s lower-risk smoking advice, which also starts people at 1 or 2 puffs and notes that effects can need up to 30 minutes to build to their peak.

Leafly reviewers mention relaxed and tingly more than any other effect, and Leafly’s text calls the strain well known for relaxing and euphoric effects. AllBud users describe a very heavy body high with a euphoric, head-in-the-clouds feel and strong hunger.
