White Truffle

White Truffle is listed as an indica flower. Leafly describes the strain as an indica-dominant hybrid and a type of Gorilla Butter, and AllBud gives the split as 80 parts indica to 20 parts sativa.

A Gorilla Butter relative from Michigan

Leafly credits Fresh Coast Genetics, a small Michigan breeder, and shows Gorilla Butter as the parent, with Chimera and Chimera 3 as children. AllBud describes a cross of Gorilla Butter and another hybrid, and its reviewers call White Truffle a Gorilla Butter phenotype; one says it is a Gorilla Butter pheno bred by Fresh Coast.

Pepper-shaped nugs, olive and purple

AllBud pictures long, fluffy, pepper-shaped nugs in a dark olive shade with purple underneath, thick orange hairs and chunky white trichomes tinted purple. Leafly describes frosty white trichomes and dark brown hairs, and says growers expect dense, spade-shaped buds and deep purple leaves that look almost black.

Butter, chestnut, lemon and black pepper

Leafly tags the flavour butter, nutty and chestnut, and its write-up calls it savoury and earthy with a mild skunky aroma. One Leafly reviewer describes an unsmoked smell that is woody, earthy and orange-citrus, with a slightly spicy smoke. AllBud describes a sweet-sour lemon citrus flavour with herbal garlic and spicy black pepper, and a fresh, woody pine touch in the aroma.

On Leafly, caryophyllene (pepper) tops the terpene list, with limonene and humulene next. Limonene has its own write-up in our citrus terpene guide.

The high as described, and the THC figures

Leafly describes a quick head high that spreads through the body into a relaxing trance. Its reviewers tag tingly and relaxed most often, and also mention giggly, happy, hungry, euphoric, focused, uplifted and creative. AllBud describes a lifted, lightly happy start followed by a tingly body effect and deep relaxation.

Leafly shows 24% THC with 0% CBD, and AllBud’s header shows 23% to 28%. Health Canada gives 10% THC as the ceiling for a first inhaled product, taken one or two puffs at a time. Leafly’s 432 ratings average 4.6; AllBud’s 33 votes average 4.5.
